6. Get lost in a second-hand store. Experience the better quality and diversity. Plus no packaging!7. Simplify. Do you really need a microwave? Some countries have already banned them. What about the clothes dryer or car?
8. Re-skill. Pursue new skills like knitting, woodworking, cooking, and other crafts: many pastimes that your grandparents took for granted.
9. Think ahead. Volunteer with a local organization that interests you.
10. Give the gift of time to someone you love. Help them out, take a nature hike, lay cards or simply share hot tea.
